Niagara College’s Teaching Brewery is now open!

Niagara College’s Canadian Food and Wine Institute is now home to Canada’s 1st and only Teaching Brewery.  It is a two year diploma program – Brewmaster/Brewery Operations Management.  This program is based at the Niagara-on-the-Lake campus and educates future brewers and brewmasters for the growing craft brewery, micro-brewery and brewpub industries.

Toronto Real Estate Board Scholarship

The Toronto Real Estate Board established 2 $5000.00 annual scholarships to be awarded to two graduating high school students going on to pursue post-secondary education.  Applications are available in the YM Guidance Office. 

Due:  April 15, 2011 by mail, fax or in person

Criteria:
Applicants must have a record of academic achievement and possess a range of leadership qualities and community involvement.

Submit a written essay (500 words or less) along with the application form on one of the following subjects:
1.  How do you envision the ideal GTA community (residentially and/or commercially)?
2.  Like the “Doctors Without Borders” concept, what initiatives could be undertaken by real estate professionals?  You must include a bibliography

Resume (detailed)
Academic Transcript
Proof of acceptance to a post-secondary institution.

Kookmin University Entrance Scholarship: Kookmin University in Seoul of Korea will open an International School in September, 2011.  The International School will offer 2 majors; International Business and Information Technology.  The medium of instruction for these two programs will be English.  The university will offer the following entrance scholarships to students who applied to the International School.
